Handmade trays from fine beech wood. The melamine based surface is sustainable heat, alcohol and UV. Dishwasher safe (but for longer durability hand washing is recommended). On the trays backside you can find the story about the motif. Size: Ø35 cm GOOSEBERRY Gooseberry (Ribes uva-crispa) is deciduous shrub that belongs to the currant family. The fruit of gooseberry is a beautiful, small berry an it can be roundish, pear- shapedbor oval. It originates from Europe, northwestern Africa and southeast Asia. In Norway the bush flourishes in gardens on the west coast nearly up to the Arctic Circle, and it is found wild as far north as 63°. In Sweden you can find gooseberry bushes in many old gardens and it´s popular to eat raw but also as ingredient of muffins, pies, ice-creams and preparation of jams. Gooseberry is good source of vitamin C and vitamins of the B group and minerals such as copper, calcium, phosphorus and manganese.
