Linnea (Linnaea borealis) is a typical swedish flower and is also a landscape flower for Småland (a part in Sweden). It have also become a popular girl name in Sweden. The plant belongs to genus in the family Caprifoliaceae (the honeysuckle family). Linnaea borealis was a favorite of Carl Linnaeus, founder of the modern system of binomial nomenclature, for whom the genus was named.
