This oval Moomin tin has an elegant matte black and white design that puts Tove Jansson's beautifully detailed illustration at the centre. The Ruby motif comes from the beloved Moomin story Finn Family Moomintroll from 1948, in which Thingumy and Bob's magnificent ruby plays a very special part. Among the leaves and undergrowth, we find Moomintroll, Thingumy and Bob gathered around the radiant ruby. The tight-fitting lid has a practical knob, making the tin easy to open while adding to its classic appearance. With a capacity of 2 litres, there's plenty of room for biscuits, cookies and other treats. Its size also accommodates most 500 g packs of coffee. But a beautiful tin doesn't have to hold something edible – it's just as useful for keepsakes, craft supplies or little treasures that deserve a hiding place of their own. Capacity: 2 litres Size: 14.5 × 20 × 8 cm Shape: Oval Material: Metal Lid: Tight-fitting removable lid with knob Design: Ruby – from Finn Family Moomintroll (1948) Illustrations: Original illustrations by Tove Jansson
